Description

Ethel Bradley believes somebody is attempting to destroy her, but does not understand who or why. She enlists the aid of her childhood friend, Lady Elsmere, but Lady Elsmere has problems of her own in the shape of the ne'er-do-well British nephew whois attempting to grab her property. Both ladies convert to Josiah Reynolds, who has just returned from Ny. Josiah calls Investigator Goetz who suggests a shamus called Walter Neff.
