Description

The narrator and character of Dostoevsky’s book The Teenage (first published in English-As A Raw Youth) is Arkady Dolgoruky, a 19 -yr-old child bursting with views and desire. The illegitimate child of the landowner, he's torn between his desire to reveal his father’s wrong-doing and the desire to get his love. He moves to St. Petersburg to face the daddy he hardly understands, impressed by an inchoate imagine communion and armed with a document that he thinks gives him power-over others.
