This assortment of stories is placed in Portobello, on the edge of Dublin. The stories reveal on characters on the edge of existence, people that nearly fit in. Through the writer's eyes, and through the eyes of his characters, we follow his progress through these stories. Aged buddies are fulfilled, in reduction or restoration, producing or attempting to make new starts, or searching back through the glass of time.
