Gary p Ratour finds your body of Heinrich von Grümh in an automobile outside his precious Gallery of Guy when, he knows he encounters a tacky public-relations clutter. What he doesn’t understand is the fact that the weapon used to kill the honorary curator is their own Smith & Wesson revolver. Implicated, openly ashamed, his life’s function at risk, Gary becomes the primary per- boy on the listing of unusual suspects. On the way, he both lives with and is assisted by Alphus, former denizen of the Primate Pavilion and a beast that has an intelligence to be reckoned with in addition to a reduced, carefully ar- ticulated viewpoint of the individual variety.
