Description

Penguin Misplaced discovers Viktor Zolotaryov coming back into Kiev under an assumed identity to attempt a dangerous mission: He really wants to discover Misha, his penguin, whom he worries has slipped into the arms of the mob searching for Viktor herself. Shame-ridden and decided to complete what it requires, Viktor drops in with a Mafia boss who uses him within an election-rigging strategy, in substitution for presenting Viktor to additional mobsters who might help him discover Misha. And as Viktor moves from mobster to mobster, attempting to endure in Kiev’s legal underground, evidence supports that Misha might be somewhere a whole lot worse: the zoo of the Chechen warlord.What develops is for Viktor equally a mission and a journey of atonement, and for the audience, a stirring mixture of the comic and the tragic, the sad and the uplifting.
