Description

In a little, dusty village in Asia, Sripathi Rao challenges like a copywriter to keep his family afloat within their crumbling ancestral house. But his mother berates him for not being a lawyer, his boy favors cultural demonstration to function, his single brother seethes with repressed wish, and his spouse, although subservient, blames him for neglecting to speak with their daughter Maya, who defied convention, rejecting her correct Brahmin fiancé for a White spouse. A telephone call provides misfortune: Maya and her partner have now been killed within an incident making Sripathi to become their daughter’s protector. Sripathi reluctantly moves to Vancouver to create the kid back once again to Asia.
