Description

An undesirable man and a wealthy man are observed dead of gunshot injuries outside a seedy club on Barrington Street. Law enforcement state it a murder-suicide, but bluesman/attorney Monty Collins suspects itis a double murder. Assisted by his friend, Father Brennan Burke, and restricted by his femme fatale regulation spouse, Felicia Morgan, Monty examines the dark side of Halifax society—hookers, drug-addicts, boozers, players, and people eager to hide a number of events that got way to avoid it of hand. Monty’s investigations lead him into a ruthless entrepreneur with road contacts, a preacher who’s been observed touring for young adults, and an oddball psychotherapist who might have overstepped the limits of treatment with several individual in the event.
