Description

Attorney and bluesman Monty Collins can be used to protecting murderers—and periodically examining killings himself—but he's never show up against something such as the situation of Reinhold Schellenberg, a global-famous German theologian who hasbeen found dead on the altar of a classic chapel in Halifax, Nova Scotia, on Saint Cecilia's evening. The priest, once a high expert within the Vatican, was recognized to trigger strong feelings in Catholics of ideological lines, and now these feelings have overflowed with scary results. At least Monty knows where you can search for hints; his buddy Father Brennan Burke has only exposed a choir school at the church, and the pupils offer an international cast of suspects—including a showy Sicilian priest, an odd English monk, a negative National, a Vatican enforcer, a church woman with a brief history of assault, and, most complicated of, an officer in the former East Berlin.
