Description

On the patrol vessel near Waterloo Bridge, police superintendent William Monk updates a couple engaged within an intensive dialogue. Moments later, both jump for their deaths in the icy waters of the Thames. Was it an accident, a suicide, or perhaps a murder? Monk discovers the lady, Jane Havilland, decided to wed the fair-haired guy who shared her destiny, actually the detective.
