Description

In 1892, the grisly murders of Whitechapel prostitutes four decades earlier with a monster named Jack the Ripper stay a frightening enigma. And in a loaded Old Bailey courtroom, Superintendent Thomas Pitt’s account triggers known gift Steve Adinett to be sentenced to hold for the mysterious murder of a buddy. In the place of being recognized for his crucial account, Pitt is used in Whitechapel and taken off his stop order, among the East End’s many dangerous slums. He must work undercover investigating so-called anarchist plots there.
