When two of the Twin Cities' “Lost Boys” — small Somali men picked to fight for terrorists in the birthplace — destroy a set of police on his home pitch, investigator Beam Bleeker is left ruined. Among the dead police was his girlfriend.The analysis grinds to a stop when he finds the youthful murderers have left to Somalia to combat in the rebel army. He's at his wits' end once the father of 1 of the kids, an ex-gang boss called Mustafa, comes searching for solutions, attempting to clear his son's name and refusing to take-no for a solution. Mustafa and Bleeker form an uneasy alliance, joining as much as help bring the kids home to stand trial.
