Agatha Raisin, comfortable and comfortable in her Carsley pad, has that same-old experience-indifference-until a study of the haunted house directs her and new friend, fine Paul Chatterton, to research. Abruptly, middle aged Agatha is aglow with love and excitement.But the shine fades quickly. As it happens Paul is just a cad. The target of the haunting is just a generally resented old biddy.
