(Helen) Beatrix Potter (1866-1943) was an English writer and illustrator, botanist, and conservationist, created in Kensington, London most widely known on her youngsters' books, which highlighted pet figures such as Peter Rabbit. Educated athome by way of a sequence of governesses, she'd little chance to mix with other kids. Potter experienced newts and frogs, and a dog bat. The foundation of her several tales and tasks were the little creatures that she smuggled in to the home or noticed during family vacations in Scotland and the Lake District.
