In 1855 Ny, Ginger Fitzpatrick has simply no curiosity about gettingvolved in the most recent trend in America—the Cotillion Ball. Alternatively, Cinnamon prefer to be rallying for women’s rights—at least till she fulfills her brother’s closest friend from St. Louis, a dim strange guy called Paul Lafontaine, who makes her problem and ignites her enthusiasm if relationship and love is this type of preposterous idea in the end. What she and the remainder of New York’s high-society don’t recognize is the fact that Paul is half Ojibwa Indian, and consequently, completely unacceptable for marriage into a good, classy woman.
