Description

The entire year is 1807, and Richard Sharpe is in England, where his job seemingly have come to a dead-end, despite his heroics in Britain's recent triumph at Trafalgar. Loveless, desolate, and directed to the menial duties of quartermaster, Sharpe roams the streets of London, contemplating a dismal future from the military. Then, from the blue, a classic friend encourages him to attempt a key mission—the shipping of the bribe—to the Danish capital, Copenhagen.
