Description

Lettie Mason, an effective however headstrong Ma schoolteacher, sailed to a little Louisiana town following the Civil War to reveal the rogue who'd murdered her brother. The man was referred to as Thorn--a man with a name for both whim and homicide. She was certain her brother had been killed by him, but she discovered that he also helped save the lifestyles and properties of numerous townspeople.
