Description

In 1882, after six decades of international journey and travel, famous diplomat and detective Erast Fandorin returns to Moscow within the heart of Mother Russia. His Moscow homecoming is anything but tranquil. Within the lodge where he and his faithful if impertinent manservant Masa are remaining, Fandorin’s aged battle-hero buddy Common Michel Sobolev (“Achilles” towards the group) hasbeen discovered dead, felled in his armchair by an apparent coronary attack. But an unnatural cause is suspected by Fandorin.
