Description

In the fifteenth century, with religious intolerance spreading like wildfire across Europe, English-born Anna Bookman and her grandpa, Finn, make a living in Prague by lighting valuable publications, including unacceptable translations of the Bible. Finn subscribes to the heresy that people should be in a position to browse the Word-Of God for themselves, with out to cover a priest for the opportunity, but keeping that perception has become more and more dangerous. Once the regulators begin slaughtering heretics and burning books ---such as the guy Anna was to wed---Finn desires her to find refuge in England, but her passing abroad is likely to be anything but simple. In London, Friar Gabriel dutifully obeys church doctrine by allowing pardons.
