Danny Swanson, Department of Fisheries and Oceans worker and ex-angler, isnt specifically annoyed when hes reassigned from the desk job in Ottawa to an at-ocean job to the West-Coast. His superiors believe theyre hitting him for his indiscretions, but Danny is very happy to be back around the Pacific, reconnecting together with his previous fishing pals. Revisiting his previous existence, however, is trolling up some old thoughts, including an unpleasant event from 10 years previously, when Danny and his team ripped up a deformed fish.
