Description
In the fall of 1888 a number of infamous killings were perpetrated by an enigmatic killer referred to as 'Jack the Ripper' who terrified the Whitechapel district of East London. Six females were killed in a four-month period with the murders closing as abruptly because they started with an unknown purpose. ` Whitechapel' tells the tale of these killings and the events that surrounded them through the eyes of Robert Ford a youthful fictional Victorian constable and his interaction with the victims and detectives involved in the case. Consequently this gives a theoretical but plausible description of how and why the killings were perpetrated; how and why 'Jack the Ripper' was never caught and how members of the British institution perverted the course of justice for their own selfish ends.
