Description

The village-like community of Passy, home to a lot of of Paris’s richest citizens, may be the last-place you might expect a homicide. Nevertheless when Aimée Leduc’s godfather, Morbier, a police commissaire, requires her to confirm his girlfriend at her house there, that’s precisely what Aimée discovers. Xavierre, a haut bourgeois matron of Basque origin, is strangled in her backyard while Aimée waits inside. Circumstantial evidence makes Morbier the primary suspect, and the real killer must be identified by Aimée, to vindicate him.
