Description

Frances, a Chinese-American student at an academically competitive institution in Bay Area, has usually had it drilled into her to be obedient to her mother and to become a straight-A student to ensure that she may visit Mediterranean school.  But will be a health care provider what she wishes?  It's never actually happened to Frances to question her own emotions and wishes till she inadvertently winds up in presentation course and finds himself having a concealed talent.  Does she care to challenge the mother who has sacrificed everything for her?  Occur the 1980s.
