Description

Beth Pendleton is fed up with the news her three unsuccessful events--each organized by her father--have produced. She’s isn't known by her not really a jinx, or an Ice Queen, a snob, or the other brands slapped on her behalf. She assists the city in several ways, requires food for the sick, and is active in church. For her twenty eight years she's tried to please her demanding parents.
