Deer time in northern California, once the hardwoods increase with soft and gunfire carcasses suspend from corner-rods. Only this time around, the carcasses aren’t simply deer. The Fauna Liberation Front, a major and bloodthirsty animal-rights group, has chose to turn the tables on predators this season, with knives, bullets and weapons. And Ned Craig, a non violent game warden, finds herself the goal of not just the WLF, but another monster from his past with a far more private grudge.
