Theaters have a brief history of mishaps and spirits, but whilst the quantity of fatalities in the Venetian brackets, law enforcement become less likely to take decisions of "incident." Proprietor/actor Dennis Hamilton has nothing apparent to achieve in the murders, nor can he have triggered them, but his unusual conduct makes others wonder if he mightn't have a dual or another character--or something different entirely--that does need the fatalities. Thriller, drama, suspense and terror mix to create that one of Williamson's best works.
