Austin, Tx, counselor Victoria Vick is approached with a cryptic, unlikable guy who demands his scenario is unfathomable and exclusive. Vick becomes confident that he suffers from a complicated group of delusions, as he gradually reveals himself: Y__, as she describes him, promises to be always a researcher who has taken cloaking engineering from an aborted government task to be able to make himself almost unseen. He claims he uses this capability to notice arbitrary people inside their everyday lives, often once they are weak and alone. Uncertain of his reasons or integrity, Vick becomes enthusiastic about her individual and the disclosure of his increasingly troubling and weird stories.
