Publishers Scott Connors and Ron Hilger have compared Smith's records, numerous typescripts, printed models, and unique manuscripts and words, to be able to make a conclusive group of scrolls. The Final Hieroglyph contains, in chronological order, all Clark Ashton Smith's tales from "The Dark Age" to "The Dart of Rasasfa."
