Abbey of Ruac, outlying Portugal - A script is found concealed behind an antique bookcase. Terribly broken, it's delivered to London for repair, and there fictional historian Hugo Pineau starts to see the surprising fourteenth century text. Within its pages lies a whimsical story of the cave and the strategies it has - and a map displaying its place near to the abbey. Fascinated, Hugo enlists the aid of archaeologist Luc Simard and both guys go exploring.
