Description

Jeremy Bremen has a secret.  All his life he's been cursed with the capability to study minds.  He understands the key feelings, concerns, and wishes of others as though they certainly were his own.  For decades, his wife, Gail, has served as a guard between Jeremy and the responsibility of the horrible knowledge.  But Gail is desperate, her mindebbing gradually away, making him susceptible to the crazy flood of believed that threatens to carry away his sanity.  Now Jeremy is on the run--from his brain, from his past, from herself--searching for serenity in isolation.  Instead he witnesses an act of violence that propels him on a Treacherous journey across harmful and adark America.  From a dream theme-park towards the lair of the monster into a clean hospital room in St. Louis, he uses a speech that's calling him to see the mystery in the centre of death.
