Description

Kate is just eighteen when she meets Tom Harper, among America's greatest pro-soccer stars.  They reveal a heavenly and attractive first love.  But the topic that abruptly ends Tom's profession also ends their existence together.  An unsuccessful suicide attempt will abandon him psychologically and physically handicapped forever.  Kate will be left alone, heart-broken, and pregnant using their son.  Soon she'll have another chance at love, however it will mean learning to forget about yesteryear and learning to trust again.
