Attempting to not skip his partner (absent learning in Mexico), the anonymous writer continuously projects his fictional work--until strange things start happening around him.Starting having a number of unusual telephone calls, the writer subsequently discovers sections of seaweed on his doorstep. But whilst the incidents escalate, his friends fall prey to a number of strange "accidents"--a number of them deadly. Assisted by Elmo Crumley, a savvy, street-wise investigator, and a reclusive actor of yesteryear having an intense hunger for a lifetime, the wordsmith sets out to obtain the link between your weird activities, and in doing this, reveals the reality about their own creative capabilities.
