Description

When Connor Swann, the son-in-law of important and famous Friend Gerald and Dame Caroline Asherton, is located hanging in a Thames Water lock, the conditions eerily remember an unusually related misfortune. Two decades previously, the Ashertons' small son, Matthew, a musical prodigy, drowned in a swollen stream whilst in the company of his cousin Julia -- Connor Swann's spouse.
