Description

On the wintry Friday evening in 1979, only hours after having sex for the very first time, Richard's partner, high-school senior Karen Ann McNeil, falls right into a coma. Eight months later she gives birth for their daughter, Megan. Rich and their group of friends live in an emotional purgatory, moving through a number of careers—modeling, movie special-effects, medication, demolition—before ultimately reuniting on the conspiracy-powered super-organic tv line, as Betty rests through the following seventeen years. But actual life develops as unique as their TELEVISION show as Rich and his buddies wait Bettyis reawakening.
