Description

In a London ravaged by the Truly Amazing Fire, Christopher Redmayne envisages the rebuilding of the town. He's tossed as well as Jonathan Bale, a highly Puritan constable, when one of is own customers is murdered, leading the set on the trip through the dark underbelly of the hedonistic Courtroom and London. Assembly in the ashes, Christopher Redmayne, an architect with Cavalier instincts, and Jonathan Bale are barely kindred spirits. Redmayne commits herself to repairing the town that Bale thinks was ruined by its internal problem.
