With this earth a long way away in time and space in the world of her childhood, she's loved and lived, endured the death of her husband, elevated her one remaining child, lovingly-tended her garden, and developed placidly aged. And it's here that she fully expects to complete out her days–until the moving corporate prospects of the Sims Bancorp Organization determines that Nest 3245.12 will be disbanded, its citizens delivered down, deeply in cryo-sleep, to someplace new and unusual and not of the choosing.
