Description

Emily Dickinson mentioned "deathis great friendship" in another of her verses. Obviously, she'd been dead a century when her lovers found Amherst to commemorate her in a funeral symposium. Included in this was Homer Kelly, known Thoreau student and ex-investigator, who'd herself handled homicide -- a kind of death -- previously. To his surprise he finds herself once more involved when homicide stalks the symposium in unexpected demise.
