Teacher Krom thinks John Firman, alias Oberholzer, is some of those crooks who maintains a low-profile and is simply too smart to get caught. Firman, fairly questionable and wealthy, wants to be questioned in his apartment on the French Riviera. But events take an urgent turn and possibly there's actually another person artfully concealing in the deep history?
