In the 1960s, Farley Mowat was residing in the small fishing community of Burgeo to the southwest shore of Newfoundland. Mowat rejoiced, when eighty-ton fin whale became caught in a regional ocean lagoon: below was the very first opportunity to study at close-range among the most wonderful creatures in development.
