Description

London, Prague, Berlin, and Moscow, 1937. In the rear alleys of evening Europe, battle has already been under way. André Szara, heir of the Polish pogroms and the Russian civil conflicts and a foreign correspondent for Pravda, is co-opted by the NKVD, the Soviet secret intelligence services, and becomes a complete-time spymaster in London. As deputy director of the London community, Szara discovers their own celebrity increasing when he utilizes a realtor in Berlin who are able to provide essential info.
