Description

Once the body of the retired sheriff is found in his great home in the Brand New Town of Edinburgh, Detective Sergeant Alice Grain discovers himself searching his monster. She is led by the search to an unfamiliar world where wind-farm developers - with an incredible number of pounds at stake - and demonstrators confront one another with daggers drawn. The sheriff's fan is murdered within an apparent hit-and-run incident, just like Alice believes a solution is starting to arise. An improbable chance or, whilst the research expands, is Alice today examining a double killer?
