Description

1943, twelve months following the end-of Under the blood red Sun, Tomi’s Papa and Grandmother continue to be under arrest, and the heaven of Hawaii today lives in fear—waiting for another assault, while attempting to get over Pearl Harbor. Being a Japanese National, Tomi and his household have fresh enemies everywhere, vigilantes who believe all Japanese. Hope is found by Tomi in his objective of elevating Papa’s fishing-boat, sunk in the channel from the Military to the evening of the assault. To Tomi, elevating Papa’s vessel is just a sign of belief that Grandma and Papa may reunite.
