Description

Mack starts her education in the mages' school in the hope that, by complying, the stasis cause is likely to be raised from her old friend, Mrs. Alcoon. Nevertheless, when there, she finds herself surrounded by petulant teenagers and adults, nearly all whom seem determined to see her fail. Sensation assaulted on all fronts, Mack sees it harder and harder to keep a control on her self-control.
