Retirement is just a time for gardening, sewing, and an unexpected peaceful meal with friends, based on Kathleen Williamson. Her cousin Andrea comes with an entirely different perspective. If the siblings visit the Canaan Area to find pictures described in a report present in a classic resort once possessed by their grandparents—paintings that could be Monets—Andrea instantly becomes involved with investigating a killer. Kathleen would much rather be searching for the pictures, because the target was their lodge-owner, killed just down the corridor from their space, but she goes along side Andrea.
