Description

In the novel, Siddhartha, a man, leaves his family for a contemplative life, then, restless, discards it for among the skin. He conceives a son, but bored and sickened by lust and greed, progresses again. Near despair, Siddhartha involves a river where he hears a distinctive sound. This sound signals the real beginning of his life -- the beginning of suffering, rejection, peace, and, finally, information.
