Description

In the title story, "Dim Nocturne," N is employed to uncover the key of the siren's song that's pulling males within their twenties for their deaths in the hillsides outside Anise Town. In "Notes on Imagined Fall" D finds herself trapped between two fans throughout a ritualistic sacrifice within the village of Shirley's Doorway, but when D can not end the sacrifice may all-in the village be condemned? And in "Tale of the War Devils" two residing guns, genetically-engineered animals who're the final remains of the war fought centuries previously, discover that fight isn't so easily overlooked.
