Description

A Helium-3 miner called Crater makes a dangerous trip through space to locate an invaluable and mystical prize. It's the 22nd Century and a difficult, groundbreaking individuals are mining the moon  to create power for a determined, war-torn Earth.  Crater Trueblood, an orphan, enjoys his existence in Moontown, a frontier mining settlement.  Simply turned sixteen, Crater is a veteran Helium 3 miner, hoping someday to be always a foreman about the scrapes.  But "the Colonel," the person who owns the quarry, features an unique strategy for Crater including Maria, the Colonel's bold small granddaughter.  Crater, followed closely by Maria and his gillie--a sentient and occasionally insubordinate heap of slime mold cells--should shepherd a convoy of Helium 3 Vans across a river of dirt while also searching for a mystical, historic artifact that may mean the difference between death and life for every inhabitant to the moon.
