Eighteen-year-old Sherry has only started her recently self-sufficient existence in London when she's kidnapped with a number of goblins. They keep her hostage in the home of Cadamon, their catacomb lair underneath the town, ruled having an iron-fist by way of a chief referred to as “the Master.” The one thing maintaining Sherry living is her capability to inform vampire prospects through tarot cards, an activity she's pressured to do night after night. She finds an unlikely friend in Lucas, as she's a four-hundred-year-old hesitant body enthusiast who's just as much a captive of Cadamon. Things get much more complex when Lucas and Sherry start slipping for every other—hard.
