Description

In April 1992 a man from the well-to-do family hitchhiked to Alaska and walked alone in to the wilderness north of Mt. McKinley. His name was Christopher Johnson McCandless. He'd provided $25,000 in savings to charity, abandoned his car and the majority of his possessions, burned all of the money in his wallet, and invented a brand new life for herself.
