Description

Last Tales is just a assortment of twelve of the last tales that Isak Dinesen published before her death in 1962. They contain seven tales from Albondocani, a predicted book which was never finished; "The Caryatids," an incomplete Medieval story of the pair bedeviled by a classic notice and a gypsyis cause; and several tales of winter, including "Talk at Night in Copenhagen," a drunken, all-night discussion between a child-king, a hooker, and an undesirable young poet.
