Description

Diamond Head, Hawaii, 1941.  Pvt. John E. Lee Prewitt is just a winner welterweight and an excellent bugler.  But when he will not join the business's boxing team, he gets "the therapy" that'll split him or destroy him.  First Sgt. Milton Anthony Warden understands just how to gift much better than nearly anybody, he's endangering his profession to have event with the commanding officer's wife.  Both Warden however and Prewitt are bound by way of a common connection:  the Military is their bloodstream and heart.
